“Please forgive her. She is truly repentant and will no longer support Judy Austin” – Actress, Rita Edochie pleads case for Sarah Martins (video)
Veteran Nollywood actress, Rita Edochie has pleaded with Nigerians to forgive Sarah Martins for previously supporting her friend, Judy Austin’s marriage to Yul Edochie.
Recall that Sarah was a staunch supporter of Yul’s controversial marriage to Judy, and repeatedly defended their decision to get married.
She once stated that women should not be afraid to snatch a “good man” from a “lousy and careless” woman, seemingly referring to how Judy snatched Yul from his first wife, May. She even had a clash with Rita Edochie over her support for Judy.
However, she recently turned a new leaf and tendered an apology to May, stating that she would no longer get involved in their family drama.
She also apologized to Rita Edochie who she insulted for attacking her over her support for Judy. Read here
Well, Sarah had a chance meeting with Rita at the airport today, September 1, and once more extended her apology, and the latter graciously forgave her.
Rita, who has always been vocal about her disapproval of Yul and Judy’s marriage, subsequently asked Nigerians to forgive Sarah, stating that she is truly repentant and would no longer support Judy Austin.
Her words,
“I am talking to the whole world. She is really repentant and is really sorry over what she did and I advise if you are still supporting evil, stop! What she did was wrong and she is really repentant. The way she hugged me shows she is really sorry and because she is really sorry, I ask the whole world to join me and forgive her. I told her joining evil is a very bad thing. God will not forgive you but she is repentant.
She said she will not support Judy again”
