Pentlife Music’s DBoi Kickstarts 2023 With ‘Bezos’
Set to conquer the industry through music and soaring in its effect, The Nigerian descent, Ignatius Ehinome Okojie, who prefers to go by the moniker DBoi is an afro-pop artist currently based in South Africa who is signed to PentLife Music SA, owned by the Nigerian recording producer, songwriter, and music artiste, KDDO (Kiddominant).
DBoi has multiple motivations behind his foray into music, and he lists the musical influences of the church and a generally unavoidable passion for music, but most notably, he states that self-expression through music helped keep him on the straight and narrow. “Music to me is a way to express my inner thoughts and I also wanted to share my side of life through it,” says DBoi.
His newly released single ‘Bezos‘ was inspired by nature, money and nostalgic memories with the captivating guitars and smooth beats produced by the award-winning Afrobeat songwriter/producer/artist, KDDO aka Kiddominant.
Dboi is a unique talent set for the pinnacle of Afropop music. Bezos marks his first single of the year, as he gears towards the release of his highly anticipated debut EP which drops later this year.
