“It’s like being nice to a lady you jilted” – Senator Shehu Sani describes Gov Wike and Peter Obi’s relationship

Senator Shehu Sani has taken to social media to share his opinion about the relationship between Governor Wike and Labour party presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

He likened the relationship to a guy who is attempting to be cordial with a woman he dumped in an effort to maintain a decent relationship with her.

Recall that during the 2023 presidential race, some Nigerians and LP supporters believed that governor Wike fought against Obi’s interests in favor of Tinubu, a claim that Wike has refuted.

Gov. Wike lauded Obi and referred to him as the “Hero of the 2023 Presidential Election” on Saturday, March 11.

According to Wike, Obi’s choice to run for office altered the course of the 2023 presidential election and his involvement made sure that the North’s hold on power was broken.

Reacting to Governor Wike’s comment, Senator Sani wrote;

“Wike and Peter. Is like trying to be nice in order to continue a relationship with a lady you jilted, after marrying another.
